Wanted Housekeeper / House Manager – for HNW family Sonning Common.
The Family is seeking an efficient and dynamic housekeeper / house manager to take care of their family residence and a possible vocational rental when not in residence.
Duties will include:
WHEN PRINCIPLE IN RESIDENCE
- Meal preparation as directed
- Dusting furniture, shelves, and other surfaces
- Vacuuming rugs and sweeping hard floors
- Mopping floors, including bathrooms and kitchens
- Cleaning showers, bathtubs, toilets, countertops, and sinks
- Cleaning countertops, stovetops, sinks, and appliances
- Cleaning windows and mirrors
- Emptying rubbish and recycling bins
- Regularly sanitizing surfaces and high-touch areas.
- Making beds and changing linens and towels
- Washing, drying, and folding laundry
- Light ironing of clothes and linens
- Keeping the property organized and tidy
- Keeping track of household stocks and inventory
WHEN PRINCIPLE NOT IN RESIDENCE – PROPERTY WILL BE LET SHORT-TERM
- Providing a full changeover of the property between renters – changing all linens, safely storing principle’s personal items, restocking supplies (cleaning products, bathroom essentials, welcome hamper etc.)
- Keeping track of household stocks and inventory
- Greeting renters and providing a walk-round and introduction to the property
- Being a first point of contact for renters staying in the property for any basic queries – i.e. how to switch on a certain appliance, where to find cleaning products etc.
- Reporting any safety hazards, breakages, or damages to the property to the principle
- Overseeing tradesmen visits when the principle is not in residence
Must have:
- At least 3 years’ experience in HNW private residence
- Contactable references
- Driving licence
- DBS
