Private Chef for HNW Family firstly in the UK (Exeter) then following the family into the South of France ( 18th May-August 2025 )
We are looking for a Highly skilled and autonomous chef with a passion for creating exceptional cuisine to initially start here in Exeter then to travel with the HNW family for their summer holiday in the beautiful South of France.
About the Role:
We are looking for a talented Private Chef to cater for a family of five Firstly Here in the UK in Exeter, then travel with the family to the South of France from 18th May to the end of August 2025 with potential for this to become a longer-term role at the family estate in Exeter. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in the South of France while providing a bespoke dining experience with the opportunity to expand the role into a full-time position here in Exeter.
Responsibilities:
- Planning and preparing a diverse range of high-quality meals, tailored to the family’s preferences and nutritional needs.
- Operating with complete autonomy in all aspects of the role, including menu planning, sourcing the finest local ingredients, and managing kitchen stocks efficiently.
- Demonstrating a strong understanding of nutrition and a passion for creating healthy and delicious dishes.
- Ensuring the highest standards of kitchen hygiene and food safety. As there are allergies on site.
- Driving to local markets in the South of France and suppliers to procure the best seasonal produce.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a private chef or in a high-end culinary environment.
- A genuine passion for nutrition and the ability to create healthy and appealing meals.
- Excellent knowledge of local sourcing and the ability to identify and procure high-quality ingredients.
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently as a chef with help throughout the kitchen by the house staff.
- A full, valid UK driving licence is essential.
- Discretion and professionalism at all times.

- Accommodation provided for the duration of your stay in the South of France and here in Exeter.
