Live-In Housekeeper Cook £40-£45k
Live-In Housekeeper Cook require, £40-£45k salery, in Buckinghamshire, near Marlow.
Family is seeking a dedicated and experienced live-in housekeeper cook to join their family. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the home, providing essential household duties, preparing delicious, healthy meals.
Weekend work is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Cleaning and Household Maintenance
- Perform daily cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, and polishing
- Maintain bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas to a high standard
- Manage laundry, including washing, ironing, and wardrobe organisation
Cooking
- Plan, prepare, and serve delicious, healthy meals for the family on the weekend
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Demonstrate competence and capability as a cook
Additional Duties
- Run errands and manage household supplies
- Assist with guest preparations and special events
- Childcare duties when required (secondary school age)
Work Schedule and Locations
- This is a full-time, live-in position in Buckinghamshire, near Marlow
- Weekend work is required
- Occasional travel to their London residence and overnight stays may be required
- Two days off during the week, likely Tuesdays and Wednesdays
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience in private household or luxury hospitality settings
- Must have contactable references
- Excellent cleaning and laundry skills
- Strong cooking abilities and menu planning experience
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (preferable but not required)
- Ability to work independently and take pride in their work
- Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential matters
