Job Title: Dedicated Live-Out Housekeeper (Two Positions)
Location: Exeter, UK
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (some weekend work may be required)
Salary: £36,000 – £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
We are seeking two reliable and proactive Live-Out Housekeepers to join our household in Exeter.
In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of household duties, ensuring our home is consistently clean, tidy, and well-maintained. We value someone who takes pride in their work and possesses a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive cleaning of all rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing.
- Laundry duties, including washing, ironing, folding, and putting away clothes and linens.
- Organising and maintaining household supplies.
- Managing wardrobes and ensuring they are tidy and well-organised.
- Running errands
- Caring for delicate items and surfaces appropriately.
- Maintaining a high level of cleanliness in bathrooms and kitchens.
- Ensuring bins are emptied and waste is managed appropriately.
- Ad hoc household tasks as required.
Essential Skills and Qualities:
- Proven experience as a housekeeper, with excellent references.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
- Discreet and respectful of privacy.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Good communication skills.
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends as needed.
- Right to work in the UK.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with caring for specific types of materials (e.g., antiques, delicate fabrics).
- Driving license (may be beneficial for running errands).
