This is a truly unique and appealing role for a couple seeking a calm and quiet environment, offering a high degree of independence.
This lovely property is primarily used by the London-based family approximately 20-25 weekends a year, with no formal entertaining and very few guests.
The Role:
We are looking for a couple to cover the Housekeeping and maintenance around the home.
Key responsibilities include:
- Immaculate Housekeeping: Maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the entire residence to the highest standards.
- Room Preparation: Ensuring all rooms are perfectly prepared for the family’s arrivals.
- Household Management: General oversight of the property, including basic maintenance checks and ensuring everything runs smoothly.
- “Family” Cooking: Simple, homely cooking skills are preferred for occasional family visits.
- No Formal Gardening: Exterior grounds and extensive gardening are managed by separate outside contractors.
The Ideal Candidates
You will be:
- Experienced in private household environments.
- Proactive, organised, and possess a keen eye for detail.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and discreet.
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own time effectively.
Possess a calm and quiet demeanour, suited to a peaceful household.
Drivers are preferred for ease of access and local amenities.
